9-Minute Yoga – Good poses for beginners

  *******

Have you been feeling stress lately?
Maybe you can feel it now…in your jaw, your shoulders, your neck.

When you release the clenching of these muscles, you will free up your mind and feelings.
You will know the bliss of zero-tension.
Wouldn’t it feel great to relax completely?

Give this simple 9 minute yoga practice a try:

It is said that your chi (your electromagnetic life energy) moves in your blood.
Blood follows chi, chi follows blood.

The longer you hold a stretch, the more blood will enter the muscle, and it will soften and relax. Don’t worry if you don’t feel very flexible at first, you will relax more deeply with each session.

The areas we usually hold tension are the hamstrings, lower back, neck, abdomen, chest, and shoulders. It’s helpful to focus on those areas first.

Here are some very powerful poses. Try to hold them for 10 seconds or more.

Start with your favorite stretch, maybe just your arms or your back.
Soon you’ll have more energy as the ancient charge lights your nerves…your whole body begins to fizzle.

If you start doing yoga every day, you will feel stronger, more flexible, and more energetic.
Your breathing will relax, your heart will be healthier, and you will likely lose weight.

You will feel light and at ease.
